Ronin is a 1998 American spy actionthriller film directed by John Frankenheimer and starring Robert De Niro, Jean RenoNatascha McElhone, Stellan Skarsgård, Sean Bean, and Jonathan Pryce. Written by David Mamet (under the pseudonym Richard Weisz) from a screenplay by first-time writer John David Zeik, the film centers on a team of hired ex-special operatives trying to steal a mysterious and heavily-guarded briefcase while navigating a maze of shifting loyalties and alliances. The film is noted for its realistic car chases through Nice and Paris and its convoluted plot involving the briefcase as a MacGuffin.

Opel Kadett GT/E (1975-1979)

Opel’s response to the success of the Golf GTI was the Kadett GT/E, powered by the 1979 cc “20EH” (CIH) unit which had had the compression ratio raised and a resulting increase in maximum power to 115 PS (85 kW; 113 hp). The rear wheel suspension was enhanced through the integration of vertically mounted telescopic gas filled Bilstein shock-absorbers which enhanced road holding and provided a firm “sporting” quality to the ride.

A quick update on the peasant-cat situation (I just saw the new poster at the supermarket) :

Swiss farmers are still going strong with the cat theme. Even if 2012 has called and want its meme back

– they seem to have fired the drug smoking intern that produced the first draft

– the new text makes a lot more sense, even if the pun is untranslatable

– I presume the first text makes sense in Swiss-German and was directly translated without checking with Swiss-French people if it was working

My ladypeasant makes even cows purr. I saw this ad for Swiss farmers maybe ten or twenty time already, and I still don’t understand it (I hope this is not a zoophilia thing).
