The 9/3 o’clock hands position ? I think this is how kids learn how to drive nowaday.
I learned with the 10/2 hands position with the no crossed arms rule. We should conservatively stick to that.
I also learned to drive with the classic hands position on the steering wheel, but it’s not a bad idea to try to change it :
– mostly because it’s less dangerous since the generalization of airbags in cars (I think I didn’t have that decadent luxury until my tenth car, and it was there mostly to pick a half-star at safety tests, since over 50 kph, the engine has a natural tendancy to travel to the the rear end of the car in case of frontal accident)
– also because it’s more efficient, bio-mechanicaly speaking. It’s not an accident this position emerged from car racing technics.

That one time I could have got away with speeding, nature would probably have killed me.
I was delighted to see how good is this litte car on snow, if driven carefully, of course. My late Citroën was always trying to murder me and kill itself afterward when roads weren’t extradry.
It’s funny how 20 cm can make the car hold the road so much better (probably the only domain but porn industry* where such a little amount can make all the difference in the world).
The new “always on headlamps” law is nice; now I can be blinded by idiots even when I’m not driving at night.
